About the Producer

Marc Cameron/Cameron//Hudson Productions - Producer

Marc Cameron is the CEO and Founder of Cameron//Hudson Productions, a UK-based film company set up to produce mainstream and independent films. He is the founder of the Little Venice Film Festival.

He is the award-winning founder of Seven Magazine (2005-2010) and 2210 Fashion/Fashion Futures (2012-present), and was named in the Evening Standard's Silicon 60 - Tech City’s most influential people.

Marc set up Cameron//Hudson Productions after working as an investment raiser on a UK film production, Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool, and helping put a historical TV drama, based on the Opium Wars, into development.

He brought Hollywood producer Colin Vaines (“Gangs of New York”, “My Week with Marilyn”, “Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool”) to the latter project. Marc also previously acted as an associate producer for Iqiyi.com's I,Supermodel - one of the world’s most popular TV supermodel shows, with over 700m online views for season 2. His episode has received over 30 million online views, to date.

More recently, Marc has consulted as the Head of Sponsorships for the Raindance Film Festival, brokering partnerships with Spotify, the Evening Standard and The Independent. He also pitched the idea, built and launched their cinema.raindance.org streaming platform - working with 200 filmmakers to put their movies online for the 2020 festival.

Between 2021 and present he has been a freelance producer involved in the development of China-focused documentaries for BBC World Service Documentaries.

Driven by his passion to create a film on his homeland of Jersey, Marc sat down in 2019 to write/adapt a screenplay for The Battle of the Strong, a book by Sir Gilbert Park, which is set in Jersey. After five months he had created a 176-page screenplay, which he edited down to 120 pages during lockdown in 2020.

Cameron//Hudson Productions was set up to fund and produce innovative and ground-breaking mainstream and independent films for the UK and global market. Our long-term aim is for the production company to become a creator of bold, visionary film projects.
