Location: St Helier, Jersey
Purpose: For exterior scenes/shots during the French invasion of the island/Philip’s return to the island as a hero.
Historical background: Named after Elizabeth I, construction of the castle began in the 16th century to enhance defence of the island in response to the increased use of cannons in warfare.
