La Corbière

Location: St Brelade, Jersey

Purpose: For exterior scenes/shots of French boats approaching the rocky Jersey coastline.

Historical background: The famous lighthouse, built in 1873, post dates the events of The Battle of the Strong. Historically La Corbière had been a place where many a ship had met its end on its ragged rocks.
